wonderful exchange

sudden awe at the power of a simple truth
spoken bravely

admiration and respect as the person agreed to speak it aloud in worship

an unexpected afternoon off when a meeting was cancelled.

I got all the way to Stirling and set foot in a bookshop for the first time in over 6 weeks.  (the joy, the relief!)  There is no ‘day off’ this week, so it really was a God-send.

The service for the week of prayer was unexpectedly good fun too, but were I to tell you about it right now, my  time off would fly past too quickly.
