slivers of crimson across a fading sky
beauty nesting in the shadows
everyday blessing #3
sweet curls of incense rising at the Epiphany offering.
everyday blessing #2
the joy of watching a squirrel hang by the tip of his tail to reach the suet,
then the elegant swirl of grey and gold; the puff of snow as gravity reclaims sovereignty.
everyday blessing #1
The first person I saw this year had nothing whatsoever to do with ‘work’.
She came (with her family) even though she knew I’d have told her not to because I wasn’t feeling well. She came, knowing that I wouldn’t have much energy for conversation, and found ways to make it work anyway.
Sometimes friends know what’s good for us, even when our own instincts say otherwise.
Blessed be she.
