Yes.
Not quite as good as the University in the holidays … long term loans on books, and entire floors to myself!
but no coffee, Rosemary.
I like Borders to and the library anywhere they have books.
A Borders with coffee and a view of the ocean would be my ideal place to spend a holiday.

The divinity section in the main library in St Andrews offered a glimpse of the sea, but you had to work for it (and then retreat to McGreggor’s for coffee).
