no, I won’t mind at all if Dunoon and Rothesay have tiny little congregations on the third of August because you have all decided to go to Glasgow. Would that I could be there too.

I’m gutted I’m at the Glenalmond Youth week that day! it’s day 1 of week 1. I’d love to go hear +Gene.
Kimberly
Have you thought about bringing your congregations to Glasgow? I’m sure you have and I guess that it might be a silly suggestion (or at least one that shows my ignorance) 🙂
It is tempting, Vicky, but not right. That would presume everyone wanted to be there as much as I do. That everyone agrees. That the gospel would be better served by going there than by staying here…
Oh yes, I’ve thought about it.
Kimberly, +Gene is also preaching in Edinburgh that evening, if that’s a possibility (not sure of details but I’m sure they’ll emerge).
Sadly, no. Services all afternoon…
Where in Edinburgh?
I’m tempted 🙂
He’s also in Edinburgh on Monday the 4th at the Festival of Spirituality and Peace. But you probably already knew about that…
I don’t have details about the Edinburgh showing I’m afraid, but I find out, I’ll let you know.
St John’s Princes Street on the 4th August. That’s what the Rector tells me.
Fleetingly home – your instincts are good, Kimberly. Parish outing??
