    Elizabeth, you probably didn’t grow up singing Wild Mountain Thyme. If you don’t know it, try to coax Kelvin into singing it for you.

  2. Aha! The penny drops. I was confused by the conjunction of Mary and thyme (and too much time with Eliot over the past week). I do indeed know Wild Mountain Thyme. My mum is a folk musician, therefore Wild Mountain Thyme lurks deep in my consciousness. Like a lot of music, it just takes a bit of jostling to shake loose.

  3. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no! I can’t *sing* it, it’s just in my head. I’d be most appreciative of hearing a solo though.
